Information on the rental of the premises of the Kunstverein München


Rentals are only possible outside of the general opening hours (Tuesday-Sunday, 11am-6pm) and during exhibition changes

Condition: Membership in the Kunstverein München (90 EUR annual membership fee)

For rent are:

The Foyer

  • Ground floor
  • 80 sqm (80–200 people)
  • aside from rental fees, additional costs are cleaning and bar costs. The bar staff will also be arranged by the Kunstverein München and will be billed to you

First Floor

  • The renting of the first floor includes the entire house: Foyer on the ground floor as well as three exhibition rooms (435 sqm) and the Archive Space on the first floor
  • aside from rental fees, additional costs are cleaning costs
  • Rental only possible during the transformation phases between exhibitions

General Information

  • The use of the music system (mixer + loudspeaker) is included in the price
  • From 10pm, the windows should be kept closed in order to avoid noise pollution of the neighbors
  • The end of the event can not be later than 2am of the following day
  • Use of the arcades and the passage between Galeriestrasse and Hofgarten is not permitted
