Kevin Vennemann is a German author and the youngest guest to take part in the No Country For Odd Poets series to date. His first novel Nahe Jedenew, published in 2005 by Suhrkamp Verlag gained critical acclaim. His most recent book Sunset Boulevard: Vom Filmen, Bauen und Sterben in Los Angeles (2013) coincidentally features previous guest Chris Kraus as a prominant figure. Further works include Mara Kogoj (2007) and a translation of Bluescreen by the American essayist Mark Greif.
