Screening: Ken Okiishi

A screening with artist Ken Okiishi takes place in cooperation with Tanja Widmann and the class for New Genres, Academy of Fine Arts Munich. The films Vital Behaviors (2019), Telly & Casper (2000) and Death and the College Student (1999) will be shown.

In his works, Okiishi “locate[s] the precariousness of the subject within a nascent history of global data streams, feedback loops, and the metabolism of neoliberal capitalism, as portrayed by bodies that have become cognitively and affectively congested.“ (Annie Godrey Larmon)
