Archive Newsletter

The Archive Newsletter regularly informs about new discoveries in the archive of the Kunstverein München, establishing contexts and references to current art discourses and past exhibition projects within the 200-year history of the institution.

The publication format was initiated in June 2018 by Theresa Bauernfeind (archivist from 2017-19) and Christina Maria Ruederer (associate curator from 2017-2020) and was written alternately by both until December 2019. The format was continued by Adrian Djukić (archivist from 2020-2022), as well as Johanna Klingler and Jonas von Lenthe, who ran the archive as a duo from 2022 to 2024. In addition to their texts, the Archive Newsletters also featured guest contributions from other authors. Since 2025 the current archivist Leona Koldehoff has been responsible for the Archive Newsletter.
